American Eagle is the newest riverboat in American Cruise Line's fleet, scheduled to depart on its inaugural cruise March 28, 2015. Like its sister ship, Queen of the Mississippi, the paddle wheeler's design invokes reminiscences of earlier times on the river, letting guests experience an old world feel while blending in an assortment of modern luxuries. Spacious staterooms, fine furnishings, and private balconies make American Eagle comparable to a world class hotel, and like its sister ship, will raise the standard for river cruising in the United States.

The oversized staterooms onboard American Eagle all have interior entrances, complimentary Wi-Fi, room service, satellite TV and DVD player, and coffee brewers. All balcony staterooms will also boast floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, for a picture perfect riverside view.

American Eagle's itinerary will primarily feature port of calls in New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis, and St. Paul. American Cruise Line also looks to offer a unique opportunity with the introduction of American Eagle's "Complete Mississippi Cruise" and "Grand Heartland Cruise" itineraries. These longer sailings will explore the entire length of the Mississippi River, in northbound and southbound variations.
