Complimentary Water Sports
There is a water sports marina at the rear of each Windstar cruise ship, and when their ships are at anchor (and conditions  permit), Windstar provides their guests with complimentary water sports. Among the many activities available are waterskiing, kayaking, windsurfing, swimming, snorkeling (with complimentary snorkel gear), sailing and scenic boat rides. Snorkeling excursions and underwater cameras can be purchased from Windstar for an additional charge.

What's New for Windstar Cruises?
The final two power yachts, the first of which was Star Pride launched earlier this year, are joining the Windstar fleet this year! Star Breeze and Star Legend will join Star Pride in the Mediterranean during the course of the2015 cruise season.
Launched in 2014 was Star Pride, the first of the three power yachts that will double the size of the Windstar fleet. All three ships will received extensive refurbishments in dry-dock prior to launch. The other two power yachts will be released later in 2015, bringing the Windstar fleet total to six.
At the end of 2012, an extensive refurbishment was done to the entire Windstar fleet (of their three sailing yachts). All interiors have been updated and redesigned to bring a warm contemporary style to the luxurious sailing vessels. In addition the dining features of each ship have been improved. New dining venues onboard include Stella Bistro, featuring fresh French culinary dishes which features many duck dishes and a wine experience second to none. The wine list on each ship has been expanded to feature European wines by the glass as well as other regional specialties.
In an effort to provide their guests with the best spa products and treatments at sea, Windstar Cruises is now featuring The OnboardSpa Company and their certified organic O SPA London products and services on all of their ships. O SPA London is a completely certified organic spa experience that takes their guests on an exotic, multi-sensorial journey of rejuvenation and relaxation.
