Jahan was custom-built in 2011 to take guests up and down the Mekong River in Vietnam year-round. The true definition of river luxury, all designs are grand and elegant. Staterooms are large and feature luxury furnishings. Every stateroom comes with its own private balcony and the suites even feature a private jacuzzi. Public spaces onboard include an open-air observatory and even a pool on the top deck
Voyages on Jahan feature regional experts on Vietnamese and Cambodian history, culture, and geography. Historians will provide nightly lectures on the area's peoples and governing bodies. Photographers will give hands-on demonstrations on the best way to capture the beauty of the Mekong River Delta. Naturalists will provide information on the ever-changing climate and wildlife of the Vietnamese countryside.
Life onboard Jahan is casual despite such a luxurious appearance. Formal clothing is not needed, just clothes for each day's expeditions and adventures. Food onboard is sourced from local sustainable resources which ensures the environmental impact of every voyage is kept to an absolute minimum. |
