The second of Costa Cruises' Fortuna Class ships, Costa Magica is an Italian-inspired vessel that is filled with beautiful furnishings that bring thoughts of some of the most charming locations throughout Italy (such as Capri, Portofino and Salento). This ship can be found cruising year-round in the Mediterranean on 7-night cruises, offering a great value to those sailing aboard.
Of Costa Magica's public spaces, some of the more popular venues are the four pools (including one that's just for children, and another that has a retractable cover), six Jacuzzis, eleven bars and lounges (including the Cognac & Cigar Bar), three-level theater, kids club (called the Squok Club), the Wellness Centre, Sicilia Casino and the lively Grado Disco. There are a few duty-free boutiques on board Costa Magica, providing excellent deals on clothing, perfume, jewelry, spirits and more.
There are four dining venues on board Costa Magica. Among them are the ship's two-floor main dining rooms, Costa Smeralda Restaurant and Portofino Restaurant. The main dining rooms are set up in an assigned seating format for dinner, whereby guests must state their dining time preference at the time of booking. Breakfast and lunch are served at both of these restaurants in an open seating style. A more casual option on board Costa Magica is the large Bellagio Buffet, which features a variety of international cuisine. Club Vicenza is the ship's optional and upscale á la carte specialty restaurant, which has a per person cover charge for those that opt to dine there. 24-hour room service is a convenient option that's available to all guests.
