Avalon Transquility II will be launched in 2015 and is part of Avalon Waterways' new fleet of "Suite Ships", featuring two full decks of Panorama Suites that transform a stateroom into a unique Open-Air Balcony. Most of the staterooms on this ship are suites. Each suite measures at least 200 square feet, 30% larger than the industry standard. These suites feature wall-to-wall sliding glass doors that open to transform the entire suite into an open-air balcony.
Avalon Transquility II features an expansive Sky Deck that provides full 360° views of the European river and passing countryside. On the Sky Deck guests can lay back in premium lounge chairs, stay out of the sun with a shade system, take a soak in the whirlpool, or even enjoy a snack in the open-air bistro.
The highlight of any river cruise on Avalon Transquility II is the river itself and the many wonderful stops along the way. One of the joys of a river cruise is the ability to spend an entire day in one port and see all that it has to offer, then wake up and do it all again in a brand new city or town. To help guests accomplish all of this, Avalon Transquility II provides local tour guides, experts, historians, and demonstrations to allow guests to experience everything that each European area has to offer. |
